I. REQUIREMENTS FOR APPLYING FOR A WORK PERMIT FOR FOREIGN INDIVIDUALS WORKING IN VIETNAM
1. Being 18 years of age or older
2. Being in good health suitable for the job requirements
3. Having no prior convictions for national security violations; not being subject to criminal liability, under pursuit, or currently serving a criminal sentence according to the laws of Vietnam or foreign laws
4. Being a manager, executive director, or specialist
II. APPLICATION FOR A NEW WORK PERMIT FOR FOREIGN INDIVIDUALS
1. A certified copy of the Business License of the employing entity
2. Letter of request for work permit issuance from the employing entity
3. Registration form for foreign labor recruitment
4. Personal autobiography with attached photo of the foreign individual
5. Document certifying professional and technical qualifications
6. Documentation regarding the recruitment of foreign labor
7. Legal background check form issued by the competent authority of the country where the foreign individual resided prior to coming to Vietnam
8. Health certificate issued either abroad or in Vietnam. The health examination date on the certificate should not be more than 6 months from the time of submitting the application for work permit issuance
9. Three (03) color photos (size 3cm x 4cm) with bare head, front-facing, clear face, both ears visible, without glasses, against a white background. The photos should be taken within the last six (06) months from the date the foreign individual submits the application.
